The Short Version

kinky.quest is a private email service run by and for people in kink, lifestyle, and alternative relationship communities. It's a small, independently operated mail system — built and maintained by people who wanted something better than what the mainstream options offer.

Why It Exists

Mainstream email providers make money by knowing who you are, what you say, and who you talk to. Their business model is surveillance. That's fine for some people. It's not fine for everyone.

• We don't want your data. We don't analyze your mail. We don't build profiles.
• We don't answer to advertisers, investors, or shareholders.
• We follow Finnish and EU law. That's a different thing entirely from US-style surveillance programs.

What We Run

• Self-hosted on VPS infrastructure — our servers, our rules
• End-to-end TLS — every connection encrypted, enforced
• DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS — your outbound mail is signed and protected from spoofing
• No third-party email gateways — your mail doesn't touch Google, Microsoft, or anyone else
• Hosted in Finland — governed by Finnish and EU law, including GDPR

Who Can Join

kinky.quest is currently an invite-based community. Accounts are reviewed and approved individually. We don't require real names, we don't require explanations, and we don't share who uses this service with anyone.

The Tech

Built on open-source software — Mailcow, SOGo, Rspamd, Postfix, Dovecot — running on Linux containers in a hardened VPS environment. We handle our own DNS, our own TLS, our own filtering. No cloud providers watching. No third-party middleware.
